If an HSMA rehearsal is cancelled due to inclement weather, notification will be emailed at least two hours prior to rehearsal and posted on the HSMA Facebook page. However, we do not normally cancel rehearsals, as we have a limited number each semester.
We recognize that our students come from many different areas. If weather conditions in your area make it unreasonable or unsafe for you to attend rehearsal, please email Andrea Bidlack to report your absence due to weather. Please do not send your family out on the roads in unsafe conditions simply because rehearsal is still being held.
We trust that families will make the best decision for their individual circumstances, just as we strive to make decisions that are reasonable for the majority of the organization. Any weather-related absences will not be questioned.
